Chief Stump among local leaders to attend Community Trust Conference

On Thursday December 1st, 2016 Chief Stump and several other community leaders attended a conference called Building Community Trust: Justice, Bias and Reconciliation at the Office of Justice Programs in Washington DC. The purpose of the event was to convene a group of community and national experts, faith based and secular, around procedural justice, implicit bias, and reconciliation.  Through panels and scenario based round table exercises, community level practitioners were able to share approaches for building trust and sustaining community trust in the justice system.  Chief Stump was accompanied by Chief Mark Bentzel; Northern York County Regional Police, Pastor Paul Atkinson; LCBC Church (York Campus), Reverend Aaron Anderson; Logos Academy CEO, Pastor Rev. William S. Kerney; Covenant Family Ministries in York, PA and Bishop Carl Scott; Bible Tabernacle Christian Center in York, PA.
