On Wednesday December 7th STPD Officers handled 15 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1501 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the female took $85 worth of merchandise without paying. The female was cited for summary retail theft and released.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1526 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft report. An employee advised a female who committed a retail theft on 11/25/16 was now in the store again. The female was taken to the office and it was found that she was concealing merchandise on her person again on this date. She was taken to Central Booking and charged with retail theft because she was not a PA resident.
