On Wednesday February 15th STPD Officers handled 20 incidents, investigated 7 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Disorderly conduct-1300 block of E Eleventh Ave
At 1100 hours an Officer met with a Springettsbury Township Code Enforcement Officer for the report of disorderly conduct. The Code Enforcement Officer advised that while meeting with a contractor who was working on a house, a subject approached him and began to yell about past problems he had with Springettsbury Township. The subject bumped into the Codes Enforcement Officer and struck the mirror of his Township vehicle. The subject was identified and summary charges will be filed.
Hit and run-3500 block of N Sherman St Ext
At 2124 hours Officers responded to the 3500 block of N Sherman St Ext for a hit and run. Witnesses reported a vehicle had struck a guard rail and became disabled in the middle of the road. A male and a female got out of the vehicle and fled on foot west through a field. They were not located and the investigation is ongoing.
