On Sunday March 19th STPD Officers handled 20 incidents and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Banana Max, 2650 Eastern Blvd

At 0645 hours an Officer spoke with the victim for a theft report.  The victim advised that her phone was stolen the night before while she was at Banana Max.  The phone’s GPS had shown that it was in Lancaster but it was now shut off.

Theft from vehicles-Planet Fitness, 1246 Greensprings Dr

Around 0920 hours Officers took three reports for thefts from vehicles that were parked at Planet Fitness.  Investigation revealed a subject who was driving a white Nissan sedan with tinted windows broke out windows on three vehicles and removed purses from each vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

Hit and run-K Mart, 1094 Haines Rd

At 1524 hours an Officer responded to K Mart for a hit and run report.  The victim advised her vehicle was struck while she was inside shopping.  A review of video surveillance showed the striking vehicle was a maroon SUV.

Theft from vehicles-Ready Care, 2250 E Market St

At 1935 hours an Officer met with two victims for reports of theft from their vehicles.  The victims advised their vehicles were parked in the lot of Ready Care today and left unlocked.  When they returned to their vehicles they found items missing.
