On Tuesday March 21st STPD Officers handled 35 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Criminal mischief-2400 block of Cambridge Rd

At 0248 hours Officers responded to a residence on Cambridge Rd for the report of a subject trespassing who damaged some property.  The investigation is ongoing.

Disorderly conduct-Central York Middle School, 1950 N Hills Rd

At 0750 hours the School Resource Officer handled a call for a fight between two students at Central York Middle School.  Charges to be filed.

Disorderly conduct-Central York Middle School, 1950 N Hills Rd

At 0950 hours the School Resource Officer handled a report of a fight between two students that occurred yesterday.  Charges to be filed.

Theft-Mt Zion Lutheran Church, 2164 Mt Zion Rd

At 1010 hours an Officer responded to the Mt Zion Lutheran Church for the report of a theft.  An employee advised several things were taken from a classroom and the investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief-1200 block of Eberts Ln

At 1233 hours an Officer spoke to the victim for the report of criminal mischief to her vehicle.  The victim advised a window on her vehicle was broken out while it was parked at her residence.

Theft-York Auto Group, 1885 Whiteford Rd

At 1250 hours an Officer responded to the York Auto Group for the report of a theft.  An employee advised a subject came into the dealership in February of 2017 and purchased a vehicle using fraudulent documents.  The investigation is ongoing.

Bad check-Pine Ridge Swim Club, 2454 Pleasant View Dr

At 1400 hours an Officer met with the caller about a bad check the business received in August of 2016.  Information was provided about the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.

Trespassing/Theft by deception-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1432 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a theft by deception.  An employee advised she had video of a male conducting a fraudulent return earlier on this date.  The employee identified the  male due to him being arrested for retail theft at the store in 2016.  At the time of his arrest in 2016 he was given a trespass notice barring him from coming back to Walmart.  Charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1432 hours an Officer was advised of a retail theft that occurred yesterday.  An employee advised a male and female worked together to take $493 worth of merchandise and they fled when confronted.  A tag number for their vehicle was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Theft from a vehicle-Suburban Park Apartments, Carnegie Rd

At 1514 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a theft from her vehicle that occurred on 3/19/17.

Retail theft-Dick’s Sporting Goods, 2925 Concord Rd

At 1852 hours Officers were dispatched to the area of Dick’s Sporting Goods for the report of three subjects who were suspected of committing a retail theft.  One of the subjects was located and stolen merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods was recovered.  The investigation is ongoing.
