On Wednesday March 29th STPD Officers handled 21 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Access device fraud-2000 block of Wallace St

At 0845 hours an Officer took a report of an access device fraud.  The victim advised her bank card information was used to make two purchases in NY.  The victim had the card in her possession and did not know how the suspect obtained her information.

Hit and run-US Post Office, 3435 Concord Rd

At 1010 hours an Officer responded to the US Post Office for a hit and run report.  The victim advised her vehicle was struck while she was inside the building.  The striking vehicle left white transfer paint on the victim’s vehicle.

Hit and run-Kloeckner Metals, 420 Memory Ln

At 1202 hours an Officer responded to Kloeckner Metals for a hit and run report.  The victim advised her vehicle was struck while she was backing out of a parking space.  The striking vehicle was a white Ford sedan which left the area without providing any information.

Hit and run-McDonalds, 380 Memory Ln

At 1312 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a hit and run that occurred yesterday.  The victim advised his vehicle was struck in the parking lot and a witness got the tag number of the striking vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1829 hours an Officer responded to the Village East Apartments for the report of a theft.  The victim advised that money was missing from her bank account and she believes someone used her card information to make unauthorized purchases.  The investigation is ongoing.

Firearms violation-Stonybrook Shooting Supplies, 3755 E Market St

At 2100 hours an Officer took a report for false information that was provided by someone purchasing a firearm in November of 2016.  The investigation is ongoing.
