On Monday April 17th STPD Officers handled 27 incidents and investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Theft-Springettsbury Park, 1501 Mt Zion Rd
At 1440 hours the victim came to the station to report a theft that occurred at Springettsbury Park on 4/13/17. The victim advised his cell phone was stolen while he was playing basketball.
Retail theft-American Eagle Outfitter, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 1521 hours an Officer responded to American Eagle for the report of a retail theft. An employee advised a male placed a large amount of merchandise in a trash bag and then fled the store without paying. It was found the male had taken 55 pairs of shorts with a total value of over $2500.
