On Tuesday May 9th STPD Officers handled 31 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 5 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Morningside Dr

At 0932 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Morningside Dr for the report of a theft.  The victim advised a set of cuff links valued at $1600 were stolen from his bedroom.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft-Ollies, 1081 Haines Rd

At 1119 hours an Officer took a report for a theft of a cell phone that occurred at Ollies.  The victim advised he set his phone down on a shelf while shopping.  He forgot that he set his phone down and left the store.  When he realized he did not have his phone he returned to the store but the phone was gone.

Harassment-Central York Middle School, 1950 N Hills Rd

At 1234 hours an Officer responded to Central York Middle School for the report of harassment.  The victim advised she was threatened while at a school event.

Theft-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 1300 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for stolen headphones.  A student advised the headphones were stolen from a classroom.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1511 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft where the suspects had fled.  An employee advised the subjects had taken $545 worth of merchandise without paying and were last seen getting into a red Hyundai sedan in the parking lot.  The tag number for the vehicle was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-1200 block of Haines Rd

At 1805 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Haines Rd for a harassment report.  The victim advised a neighbor has been harassing them over several issues.  The suspect will be cited for harassment.
