Daily Report for June 17th, 2017

On Saturday June 17th STPD Officers handled 19 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 4 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Harassment-300 block of S Kershaw St

At 0358 hours Officers responded to a residence on S Kershaw St for the report of a domestic.  The investigation revealed a male shoved a female and he will be cited with harassment.

Retail theft-Kohls, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1416 hours an Officer responded to Kohls for the report of a male who fled after committing a retail theft.  An employee advised the male took $44 worth of merchandise without paying and took off running when he was confronted.

Retail theft-Boscovs, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1632 hours an Officer responded to Boscovs for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $35 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was cited for summary retail theft and taken to Central Booking for processing because she was not a PA resident.

Public drunkenness-1700 block of Industrial Hwy

At 2331 hours an Officer observed two females fighting in a parking lot on Industrial Hwy.  One of the females will be cited for public drunkenness.
