On 06/20/17 at 1010 hrs, the Springettsbury Township Police Department was dispatched to M&T Bank, 2801 East Market St. York, PA 17402, for a bank robbery.  Upon arrival they were advised that a subject, later identified as Nathan Eric Mowry (36 years old with no fixed address in York), had entered the bank.  Mowry presented a hand written note to a teller.  The note indicated that Mowry had a gun and instructed the teller to give him money.  The teller provided $1,065.00 in US currency to Mowry.  Mowry fled from the bank with the currency.

Mowry was apprehended at Central Market in York City.  At the time of apprehension, Mowry possessed currency stolen from the Bank.  Mowry was positively identified as the actor in the robbery.

Mowry was later interviewed at the Springettsbury Township Police Department where he provided a written confession admitting to the robbery.  No weapon was displayed and no injuries occurred during this incident.
