On Monday July 10th STPD Officers handled 25 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of heroin/Drug paraphernalia/Overdose-Rt 30 at Mt Zion Rd

At 0104 hours Officers responded to the area of Rt 30 and Mt Zion Rd for the report of a female who overdosed in a vehicle.  Officers administered Narcan to the female and she was later transported to the hospital by EMS.  Heroin and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the female.  Charges will not be filed due to the drug overdose immunity law.

Forgery-York Traditions Bank, 2450 Eastern Blvd

At 1530 hours an Officer took a report of a forgery that occurred at the York Traditions Bank.  An employee advised a female forged a bank withdrawal slip.  The female was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Theft of services-Chuck E Cheese, 2801 E Market St

At 1555 hours an Officer responded to Chuck E Cheese for the report of a theft.  An employee advised that on 7/9/17 a female had a child’s birthday party there and left without paying her bill.

Public drunkenness-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1932 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of an intoxicated male who was causing problems at the store.  The male was located and arrested for public drunkenness.  He was cited and transported to his residence.

DUI crash-800 block of Tenth Ave

At 2119 hours Officers responded to Tenth Ave for the report of an erratic driver.  The investigation revealed a male had been driving erratically and struck a building when he pulled into a driveway on Tenth Ave.  The male was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to the hospital for a blood test.  The male refused the test and will be charged with DUI.
