On Sunday July 30th STPD Officers handled 23 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Public drunkenness-Giant, 2415 E Market St

At 0057 hours an Officer responded to Giant for the report of a male passed out on the sidewalk.  The male was found to be highly intoxicated and he was released to a family member and cited for public drunkenness.

Criminal mischief-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St

At 0107 hours an Officer was flagged down about criminal mischief to a vehicle in the parking lot of Fat Daddy’s.  The victim advised that two windows had been broken out on his vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

Possession of marijuana-400 block of Memory Ln

At 0248 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Memory Ln.  Investigation revealed two occupants of the vehicle were in possession of a small amount of marijuana.  They were released with charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 0321 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft where the suspects had fled.  An employee advised two males attempted to take $229 worth of merchandise without paying.  They fled when confronted and left the area in a vehicle.  A tag number was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St

At 1118 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of harassment that occurred earlier on this date at Fat Daddy’s.  The victim advised a known subject had struck her in the parking lot at closing time.  The investigation is ongoing.

Burglary-100 block of S Vernon St

At 1301 hours an Officer responded to a residence on S Vernon St for a burglary report.  The victim advised that while he was away this morning someone entered his home and took some coins.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft-Sheetz, 405 Memory Ln

At 1730 hours an Officer responded to Sheetz for a theft report.  An employee advised a subject took the keys to the lottery machine.  Suspect information was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

Burglary-500 block of Stonewood Rd

At 1750 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Stonewood Rd for a burglary report.  The victim advised that within the past several months someone entered a storage building on his property and removed several antiques.  The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-Penn Oaks Park, Edenbridge Rd

At 1936 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of harassment that occurred at Penn Oaks Park.  The victim advised a known subject had struck him while at the park and the fled the area.  The investigation is ongoing.
