On Sunday August 20th STPD Officers handled 22 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of marijuana-600 block of Memory Ln

At 0015 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Memory Ln.  The driver of the vehicle was found to have a suspended license and an active arrest warrant.  A small amount of marijuana was also observed in the vehicle.  The female was transported to Central Booking for the warrant and other charges will be filed.

DUI-N Hills Rd at Wallace St

At 0214 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on N Hills Rd.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

DUI-1500 block of Mt Zion Rd

At 0303 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Mt Zion Rd.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges were completed for the subject’s first DUI offense because he was not a PA resident.

DUI-Rt 30 at Eden Rd

At 0355 an Officer came upon a disabled vehicle on Rt 30.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to the hospital where he refused a blood test.  He was then taken to Central Booking for processing and charges will be filed.

 Hit and run-Taco Bell, 2400 E Market St

At 1210 hours an Officer responded to Taco Bell for a hit and run report.  The victim advised that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was backing up in the parking lot.  The driver of the other vehicle fled the area without providing any information.  A tag number was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Possession of marijuana/drug paraphernalia-Paradise Rd

At 1700 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Paradise Rd for the report of found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The caller advised the items belonged to a juvenile resident of the home and the investigation is ongoing.
