On Sunday October 15th STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
DUI-Eastern Blvd at Kingston Rd
At 0213 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Eastern Blvd at Kingston Rd. The driver was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI. The driver refused to submit to a blood test and was transported to Central Booking for processing and charges.
Access device fraud-Various locations
On 10/15/17 STPD Officers took 6 reports for access device fraud from victims throughout the Township. The victims advised that an unknown person had used their bank card information to make unauthorized purchases and/or withdrawals from their account. It is believed their card information was “skimmed” and Detectives are conducting further investigation.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1811 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for two subjects in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the pair had taken a combined total of $138 worth of merchandise. They were released with charges to be filed.
Harassment-Camelot Arms Apartments, N Hills Rd
At 2332 hours Officers responded to the Camelot Arms Apts for the report of a domestic dispute. The victim advised she and her boyfriend got into a physical altercation. The male was transported to Central Booking for a warrant and a harassment citation will be filed.
