Daily Report for October 17th, 2017

On Tuesday October 17th STPD Officers handled 24 incidents and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Access device fraud-Several locations

On this date Officers took 4 reports for access device frauds that were recently discovered.  The victims reported their bank card information was used to make unauthorized withdrawals from their accounts.  These incidents appear to be related to several similar crimes reported over the past several days.  The investigations are ongoing.

Theft-Lafayette Plaza, 3201 E Market St

At 1014 hours an Officer took a report for a theft that occurred at an apartment at Lafayette Plaza.  The victim advised several things were taken from her apartment in June of this year.

Identity theft-100 block of Fountain Dr

At 1615 hours an Officer took a report of identity theft.  The victim advised his information had been used to open several accounts over the past year.

Harassment-900 block of Ridgewood Rd

At 1838 hours Officers responded to a residence on Ridgewood Rd for a domestic dispute.  The caller reported her boyfriend had been harassing her inside the home.  She declined prosecution.
