Daily Report for October 31st, 2017

On Tuesday October 31st STPD Officers handled 25 incidents and investigated 1 motor vehicle accident.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Identity theft-Camelot Arms Apartments, N Hills Rd

At 1157 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of an identity theft.  The victim advised that she recently discovered that her information was used to open a cell phone account in 2016.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1332 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $76 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed for her second offense of retail theft.

Terroristic threats-Sprint, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 2019 hours an Officer responded to the Sprint Store in the Galleria Mall for the report of a male customer who threatened employees.  The male had left prior to police arrival but he was identified and the investigation is ongoing.
