On Monday November 6th STPD Officers handled 35 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Burglary-Marcello’s Pizza, 17 Theater Ln

At 0245 hours Officers responded to Marcello’s for the report of a burglary that was just discovered.  Investigation revealed that forced entry was made into the business around 0230 hours and cash was taken.

Burglary-Jeff’s Got Crabs, 2813 Mt Rose Ave

At 0824 hours Officers responded to Jeff’s Got Crabs for the report of a burglary that was just discovered.  Investigation revealed that sometime overnight forced entry was made into the business and cash was taken.

Hit and run-Concord Rd at Northern Way

At 0908 hours an Officer responded to this intersection for a hit and run report.  The victim advised a vehicle struck his truck and fled the scene into a nearby parking lot.  The striking vehicle was located and charges will be filed.

Hit and run-2800 block of Whiteford Rd

At 1347 hours an Officer responded to the 2800 block of Whiteford Rd for a hit and run report.  A witness advised a vehicle had struck a sign and the driver had parked and left the area.  The driver was located and charges will be filed.

Theft-100 block of Cropthorne Ln

At 1656 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Cropthorne Ln for a theft report.  The victim advised several items were taken out of her home while she was at work.  The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-4000 block of Old Orchard Rd

At 1732 hours Officers responded to a residence on Old Orchard Rd for the report of a domestic.  Investigation revealed a female struck a male during an argument.  The female was taken to Central Booking and charged with harassment.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1859 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a male in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the male had taken $68 worth of merchandise without paying.  He was cited for summary retail theft.

DUI-2500 block of E Market St

At 2224 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and she was arrested for DUI.  She was transported to the hospital for a blood test and then to Central Booking for processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

Retail theft-Sheetz, 3998 E Market St

At 2254 hours and Officer responded to Sheetz for the report of a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised a male had taken $152 in cigarettes without paying.
