On Sunday November 19th STPD Officers handled 18 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 4 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Public drunkenness-Eastern Blvd

At 0352 hours Officers responded to Eastern Blvd for the report of a male banging on the caller’s door asking to be let inside.  Officers located the male, who was partially clothed, and found he was highly intoxicated.  The male was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where he was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Retail theft-Giant, 2415 E Market St

At 1418 hours an Officer responded to Giant for the report of a retail theft where the suspects had fled.  An employee advised the males had taken $389 worth of merchandise without paying and fled when confronted.  The employee got the tag number of their vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.

Disorderly conduct-Cocoa Hut, 3402 E Market St

At 1444 hours an Officer responded to the Cocoa Hut for the report of several juveniles who were causing a disturbance.  An employee advised that the subjects began yelling and threatening him when he asked for ID about a tobacco purchase.  The subjects left prior to police arrival.

Hit and run-Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1731 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  She advised that her vehicle was struck while she was inside the store shopping.

Criminal mischief-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 2035 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of criminal mischief.  The victim advised that someone slashed a tire on her vehicle while it was parked in the lot.  Photos of the suspect were obtained and disseminated for identification assistance.

Hit and run-3400 block of E Market St

At 2123 hours an Officer responded to E Market St for a hit and run report.  The victim advised she was walking along E Market St when a vehicle struck her with its side view mirror.
