Daily Report for November 21st, 2017

On Tuesday November 21st STPD Officers handled 24 incidents, investigated 6 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1213 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft where the suspects had fled.  An employee advised two females took $220 worth of merchandise without paying and fled when confronted.   They were seen getting into a silver Pontiac sedan and leaving the area.  Possible suspect information was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

Hit and run-E Market St at N Vernon St

At 1413 hours an Officer responded to this intersection for a hit and run report.  The victim advised he was involved in an accident with a Nissan which fled the scene.  A tag number for the Nissan was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-Heritage Valley FCU, 2400 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1529 hours an Officer met with the victim for a harassment report.  The victim stated a male has been harassing her at the business.  The male was identified and the investigation is ongoing.
