On Friday December 1st STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 4 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-E Market St at N Royal St

At 0051 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

DUI-2600 block of Eastern Blvd

At 0212 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Eastern Blvd.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges were completed because he was not a PA resident.

Criminal mischief-Syncreon, 609 Memory Ln

At 0955 hours an Officer responded to Syncreon for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised someone had scratched his vehicle while it was parked in the lot on 11/30/17.

Retail theft-Dollar General, 5 Cinema Dr

At 1047 hours an Officer responded to Dollar General for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier.  An employee advised a female had taken numerous items without paying.  She was identified and charges will be filed.

Theft-100 block of Cropthorne Ln

At 1258 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Cropthorne Ln for the report of a theft.  The victim advised that she witnessed a neighbor take $120 worth of decorations from her property.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where charges were completed.

Hit and run-Edgewood Rd at First Ave

At 2114 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  The victim advised his vehicle was struck by another which failed to stop.  The striking vehicle was located and the investigation is ongoing.
