Daily Report for December 5th, 2017

On Tuesday December 5th STPD Officers handled 26 incidents, investigated 9 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Simple assault-100 block of Wynwood Rd

At 0026 hours Officers responded to a residence on Wynwood Rd for the report of a domestic related assault.  The investigation revealed several family members got into a physical altercation resulting in minor injuries.  The investigation is ongoing.

Hit and run-Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center-118 Pleasant Acres Rd

At 0709 hours an Officer responded to the above location for a hit and run report.  The victim advised her Nissan sedan was damaged while it was parked in the lot.

Theft-100 block of Cropthorne Ln

At 0939 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Cropthorne Ln for a theft report.  The victim advised someone had stolen holiday decorations from her front yard.  A suspect was identified and some of the items were recovered.  Charges to be filed.

Theft-Maurices, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1402 hours an Officer responded to Maurices for a theft report.  A manager advised someone had taken cash from the business on two occasions within the past two months.

Theft-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St

At 1645 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a theft that occurred on 12/3/17 at Fat Daddy’s.  The victim stated her cell phone was taken while she was at the club.

DUI crash-N Sherman St at Rt 30

At 1754 hours an Officer responded to this intersection for the report of an accident.  One driver was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI.  He refused to submit to a blood test and was taken to Central Booking where he was charged with his second offense of DUI.

Theft-100 block of Cropthorne Ln

At 2021 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Cropthorne Ln for a theft report.  The victim advised that the same person that stole her holiday decorations earlier had stolen them again.  The items were returned and charges will be filed.
