On Wednesday December 20th STPD Officers handled 29 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Possession of drug paraphernalia-2600 block of Eastern Blvd
At 0131 hours an Officer made contact with a subject walking in the area. It was discovered the subject had warrants for his arrest and he was taken into custody. During a search of the subject numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located. He was transported to Central Booking.
Criminal mischief-100 block of Cropthorne Ln
At 0725 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Cropthorne Ln for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim advised that someone entered his vehicle overnight and placed a large amount of condiments all over the interior. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1132 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a subject who fled after committing a retail theft. The subject was located nearby and he was taken into custody and found to be a juvenile. An employee said he took $213 worth of merchandise without paying and he was released to a guardian with charges to be filed.
Access device fraud-4000 block of Stonybrook Dr
At 1515 hours an Officer met with the victim for a fraud report. The victim advised someone used his credit card information to make an online purchase without his permission. Some suspect information was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
Theft-400 block of Grant Dr
At 1856 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Grant Dr for a theft report. The victim advised that while she was away from her home, two bicycles were stolen out of her open garage.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1917 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft report. An employee advised that at 1549 hours three juveniles took bicycles, each valued at $119, and rode them out of the store without paying for them. Photos of the subjects were obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
