On Monday December 25th STPD Officers handled 9 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 5 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Retail theft-Christmas Tree Shops, 2935 Concord Rd
At 1139 hours an Officer took a report for a retail theft that was witnessed by the caller. Investigation revealed a subject had taken $21 worth of merchandise that was displayed outside of the store, which was closed at the time. The suspect was located and the merchandise was returned.
Possession of marijuana/drug paraphernalia-Rimrock Rd at Compton Ln
At 1815 hours Officers responded to the area of this intersection for the report of an erratic driver that was being followed by the caller. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted. Officers recovered a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. Charges to be filed.
