On Tuesday January 2nd STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 0015 hours an Officer met the victim for a report of a theft of a phone that occurred at Walmart. The victim advised that her phone was stolen from the bathroom and it’s GPS was showing it was now in Manchester.
Simple assault-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 2022 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a simple assault that occurred at the mall. The victim advised a known subject had struck and threatened her. The investigation is ongoing.
Possession of drug paraphernalia-E Market St at S Kershaw St
At 2310 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St. The driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was released with charges to be filed.
