On Sunday January 7th STPD Officers handled 18 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-E Market St at Haines Rd

At 0035 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was released with charges to be filed.

DUI-Mills St at Fifth Ave

At 0151 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Mills St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges were completed due to this being the subject’s fourth DUI offense.

Hit and run-3800 block of Tarpley Dr

At 0216 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Tarpley Dr for a hit and run report.  The victim advised a vehicle had just struck his vehicle, which was parked at the residence.  The striking vehicle parked nearby and the driver got out and entered another residence.  Information was obtained on the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.

Trespassing-Hawk Gunning Club, 2486 Pleasant View Dr

At 1932 hours Officers responded to the above address for the report of two subjects who were refusing to leave.  The subjects eventually left the property and will be cited for trespassing.

False ID to law enforcement-Haines Rd at Mt Rose Ave

At 2032 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Haines Rd.  The driver provided false information about her name because she did not have a valid driver’s license.  She was positively identified and transported to Central Booking where charges were completed.
