On Thursday February 8th STPD Officers handled 29 incidents and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Terroristic threats-Sheetz, 405 Memory Ln

At 0215 hours an Officer responded to Sheetz for a threats report.  An employee advised a customer threatened him after the customer had problems using his credit card.

Attempted theft from vehicle/Recovered stolen vehicle-100 block of Carriage Hill Ln

At 0249 hours Officers responded to Carriage Hill Ln for the report of a theft in progress.  The caller advised that he found someone going through vehicles in his neighborhood.  The caller confronted the suspect and the suspect took off running.  A vehicle presumably used by the suspect was located in the middle of the road nearby and it was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from Lancaster County.

Retail theft-Sheetz, 3998 E Market St

At 0925 hours an Officer responded to Sheetz for a theft report.  An employee advised that it was just discovered during an inventory that $2,032 worth of merchandise was missing.  Video surveillance was checked and some possible suspect information was obtained.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1220 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier.  An employee advised that two males had taken a total of $67 worth of merchandise without paying.  They left the area in a silver Saturn sedan.

Theft-3000 block of Stuart Dr

At 1100 hours an Officer took a report for a theft on Stuart Dr.  The victim advised that jewelry was taken from the residence in November of 2017.

Hit and run-3900 block of Eastgate Dr

At 1605 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  The victim advised that his vehicle had been struck while it was parked in front of the residence.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1547 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a male in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the male had taken $39 in merchandise.  He was found to be a juvenile and was reported as a missing person.  He was also found to have 4 prior convictions for retail theft.  He was released to his mother with charges to be filed.

Burglary-800 block of Eleventh Ave

At 1636 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Eleventh Ave for a burglary report.  The victim advised that someone entered her home today and removed electronics.

 

Harassment-2500 block of N Sherman St

At 1927 hours Officers responded to a residence on N Sherman St for a family dispute.  One female will be cited for harassment.

Possession of drug paraphernalia-Haines Rd at Eastern Blvd

At 2329 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Haines Rd.  Investigation revealed the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was released with charges to be filed.
