On Friday February 9th STPD Officers handled 39 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-Mills St at Fifth Ave

At 0131 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Mills St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking and refused a blood test.  Charges to be filed.

Theft-1100 block of Loucks Mill Rd

At 1059 hours an Officer responded to Loucks Mill Rd for a theft report.  The victim advised that a large dumpster had been stolen off the property within the past month.

Retail theft-Fine Wine and Good Spirits, 2547 E Market St

At 1306 hours an Officer responded to this business for a retail theft report.  An employee advised a female had taken $59 worth of merchandise without paying.

Theft-Tumble Town, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1515 hours an Officer responded to Tumble Town for a theft report.  An employee advised $275 was taken from the business on 2/6/18.

Hit and run-Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1535 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  The victim advised that her vehicle was struck while she was inside the store.

Retail theft-Bon Ton, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1728 hours an Officer responded to Bon Ton for the report of a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $91 worth of merchandise without paying.  The female was found to be a juvenile and she was cited and released to a parent.

Theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1748 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a theft report.  The victim advised her wallet was taken out of her cart while she was shopping.  The investigation is ongoing.

Hit and run-Rt 30 at N Hills Rd

At 1826 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  The victim stated that a sedan struck his vehicle and fled the area.  He provided a tag number for the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.

DUI crash-3800 block of Oakleigh Dr

At 2157 hours an Officer responded to Oakleigh Dr for the report of a vehicle that struck a parked car.  The investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.
