On Saturday February 10th STPD Officers handled 31 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-Rt 30 east of Mt Zion Rd

At 0208 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Rt 30.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

False ID to Law Enforcement-Northern Way at Eastern Blvd

At 0218 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Northern Way.  The driver of the vehicle provided false information about his identity.  It was later discovered that the driver did not have a valid license.  He was transported to Central Booking for processing.

Trespassing/Possession of drug paraphernalia- Turkey Hill, 3690 E Market St

At 0411 hours Officers responded to Turkey Hill for a trespassing complaint.  An employee advised that two subjects who had been banned from the property were on scene.  The subjects were located and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  They were released with charges to be filed.

Institutional vandalism-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 0615 hours an Officer responded to CYHS for the report of graffiti painted on the building.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1210 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $177 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed.

Access device fraud-Lowes, 2449 E Market St

At 1224 hours an Officer responded to Lowes for a fraud report.  An employee advised that a subject purchased $814 worth of merchandise with a credit card that was found to be stolen.  Photos of the subject were obtained and disseminated for identification assistance.

Retail theft-Lowes, 2449 E Market St

At 1224 hours an Officer took a report for a retail theft that occurred on 2/2/18.  An employee advised a subject took $598 worth of merchandise without paying.  The subject was identified and charges will be filed.

Hit and run-Walgreens, 2350 E Market St

At 1637 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a hit and run that occurred on 2/8/18.  The victim stated his vehicle was struck when it was parked in the lot.

Hit and run-Industrial Hwy at N Hills Rd

At 1817 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  The victim stated a black Infiniti sedan struck his vehicle at this intersection.  A tag number was obtained and contact was made with the driver.  Information was exchanged and the victim declined prosecution.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 2100 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $28 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was cited and released.

At 2321 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft in progress.  A female was taken into custody and it was discovered that she had taken $342 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed.
