A BIG Thank You from the STPD!

The Springettsbury Township Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Arwin Burgos for his life saving efforts on February 16^th, 2018.  At 2052 hours Officers responded to the TownePlace Suites by Marriott at 2789 Concord Rd, York PA for an ambulance call involving a 3 year old female who had fallen into the pool.  While playing with siblings the child fell into the pool and was pulled out of the water but was unresponsive.  The adult with the children yelled for help and Marriott employee Arwin Burgos quickly came to assist.  Mr. Burgos began performing CPR on the child and she regained consciousness.  Upon the arrival of emergency personnel the child was alert and it is believed she will make a full recovery.

It is so easy to find negative stories out there so please join us in thanking Mr. Burgos for taking swift action on behalf of a stranger!
