On Tuesday February 20th STPD Officers handled 37 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 7 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-600 block of Memory Ln

At 0420 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Memory Ln.  The driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and he was released with charges to be filed.

Criminal mischief-YTI, 1405 Williams Rd

At 1034 hours an Officer responded to YTI for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised that her window was broken out while she was inside the building.

Aggravated assault-Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Rd

At 1517 hours an Officer responded to YDC for the report of an assault.  The victim was a staff member who advised he was assaulted by a juvenile resident.  Charges were completed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1618 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $137 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation and then to Central Booking and charged with a felony due to numerous prior convictions.

Strangulation-3900 block of E Market St

At 1940 hours Officers responded to the 3900 block of E Market St for an assault report.  The victim advised that a known subject had grabbed her around the neck and she had trouble breathing.  The male was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where he was charged with strangulation.

Burglary-500 block of Quaker Dr

At 1640 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Quaker Dr for a burglary report.  The victim stated that within the past week someone entered the home and removed several items.

Access device fraud-100 block of N Marshall St

At 2155 an Officer met with the victim for a fraud report.  She advised that she recently discovered several withdrawals made from her bank account using her card information.  She still had the card in her possession and advised no on had permission to use the information.
