On Wednesday September 12th STPD Officers handled 38 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 6 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Firearms offense-Stonybrook Shooting Supplies, E Market St

At 0800 hours an Officer began an investigation after it was discovered that a subject provided inaccurate information in July when he attempted to purchase a firearm.

Public drunkenness-N Hills Rd

At 0857 hours Officers responded to N Hills Rd for the report of an intoxicated female who had fallen down and was causing a problem.  The female was found to be highly intoxicated and she was transported to the hospital for further assistance.

Retail theft-Fine Wine and Good Spirits, E Market St

At 1051 hours an Officer responded to the business where an employee reported a retail theft that occurred on 9/11/18.  The employee advised two males took $139 worth of liquor and left without paying.  Photos of the subjects were obtained and will be posted for identification assistance.

Possession of drug paraphernalia-Walmart, E Market St

At 1853 hours Officers responded to the parking lot of Walmart for a report of a male who overdosed in a vehicle.  He was revived with Narcan and drug paraphernalia was recovered from the vehicle.  Charges will not be filed due to the drug overdose immunity law.

Burglary-N Sherman St

At 1600 hours an Officer responded to a residence under construction on N Sherman St for a burglary report.  The caller advised someone entered the vacant residence overnight and removed several items.

Theft-Target, Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1803 hours an Officer responded to Target and met with the victim who advised someone had taken cash out of her purse.  A suspect was identified following a review of surveillance video and the investigation is ongoing.
