Crime Report for September 19th, 2018

On Wednesday September 19th STPD Officers handled 23 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 0838 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for an employee being held for retail theft.  A manager advised the employee was found to have taken $339 worth of merchandise over the past few months.  She was arrested and taken to DJ 19-2-01 for arraignment.

Access device fraud-Village East Apartments, Eastern Blvd

At 1520 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported someone had used his bank card information to make several unauthorized purchases at a nearby store.  The investigation is ongoing.

Fraud-York Traditions Bank, Eastern Blvd

At 1359 hours an Officer began an investigation into a fraud that occurred at the Bank in August.  The investigation is ongoing.
