On Saturday September 22nd STPD Officers handled 27 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession with intent to distribute-Rt 30 at N Sherman St

At 0123 hours an Officer responded to Rt 30 for the report of an erratic driver.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the driver was found to be in possession of cocaine.  She was arrested and taken to Central Booking where she was charged.

Hit and run-Mt Rose Ave at I-83

At 0159 hours an Officer responded to Mt Rose Ave for the report of an accident where the driver fled the area on foot.  The driver was not located and the investigation is ongoing.

DUI crash-E Market St at I-83

At 1230 hours an Officer responded to E Market St for a vehicle accident.  One of the drivers involved was under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to the hospital for a blood test and then to Central Booking for processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

Disorderly conduct-Taco Bell, E Market St

At 1347 hours an Officer responded to Taco Bell for the report of a female who was yelling and throwing things inside the restaurant.  An employee advised the female was upset over how some burritos were made and began yelling at employees and other customers.  The unhappy customer left the area prior to police arrival.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 1703 hours an Officer responded to Walmart and met with an employee who advised a female had taken $99 worth of merchandise from the store without paying.  She was identified and charges will be filed.

Drug paraphernalia/Public drunkenness-Rutters, N Hills Rd

At 1959 hours Officers responded to Rutters for the report of a male who was climbing on top of vehicles in the parking lot and banging on their windows.  The male was found to be under the influence and he was transported to Central Booking and charged with public drunkenness.

Drug possession/Public drunkenness-Village Green Shopping Center, E Market St

At 2006 hours Officers responded to the shopping center for the report of an intoxicated male laying on the sidewalk swinging his arms wildly.  He was found to be in possession of marijuana, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.  Charges will be filed.
