On Saturday September 29th STPD Officers handled 31 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-Eastern Blvd at S Kershaw St

At 0206 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Eastern Blvd.  The driver was found to be under the influence and she was arrested for DUI.  She was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

DUI-E Market St at Northern Way

At 0207 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and she was arrested for DUI.  She was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

DUI-Northern Way at E Market St

At 0212 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Northern Way.  The driver was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

Hit and run-Banana Max, Eastern Blvd

At 0751 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported her vehicle was struck last night while it was parked at Banana Max.

Hit and run-Rutters, Haines Rd

At 1117 hours an Officer responded to Rutters and met with the victim who reported someone had struck her vehicle in the parking lot.  Some information was provided for the striking vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.

Access device fraud-Maywood Rd

At 1130 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported someone used his credit card without his permission and made several purchases in August.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 1536 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft that just occurred.  An employee advised two subjects had taken $118 worth of merchandise without paying and left the area in a vehicle.  The vehicle was located nearby and the subjects were identified.  Charges to be filed.

DUI crash/Drug possession-Rt 30 at Eden Rd

At 1710 hours Officers responded to Rt 30 for the report of a crash with injuries.  The driver of one of the vehicles was found to be under the influence and in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.  He was transported to the hospital for a blood test and then to Central Booking for processing.  Charges to be filed.  The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Retail theft-Target, Pleasant Valley Rd

At 2128 hours an Officer responded to Target for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $186 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed.
