On Tuesday October 16th STPD Officers handled 30 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Simple assault-Greywood Rd

At 0048 hours Officers responded to a residence on Greywood Rd for the report of an assault where it was reported a male struck a family member.  The male was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where he was charged with simple assault and harassment.

Hit and run-3000 block of Druck Valley Rd

At 0801 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported that a vehicle had run over his mailbox sometime overnight.

Retail theft (2)-Lowes, E Market St

At 1420 hours an Officer responded to Lowes for two reports of retail thefts that occurred earlier.  An employee advised that on 10/15 a male took $399 worth of merchandise without paying and left the area in a silver Mercury SUV.  It was also reported that on 9/11 a male took $1200 worth of merchandise and left the area when confronted.  Photos of the suspects will be obtained for further investigation.

Retail theft-Xfinity, E Market St

At 1615 hours an Officer responded to the Xfinity store for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier.  An employee advised a male took an iPhone valued at $1099.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 1704 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $69 worth of merchandise without paying.  The female was cited for retail theft and released.

Harassment-Rutters, Haines Rd

At 1743 hours Officers responded to Rutters for the report of a physical domestic between a male and a female.  Charges pending further investigation.
