On Friday October 19th STPD Officers handled 39 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 5 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI/Drug possession-Mundis Mill Rd

At 0121 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Mundis Mill Rd and found the operator was under the influence.  She was also found to be in possession of marijuana, suspected cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.  She was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges pending blood test results.

Harassment-McDonald’s, E Market St

At 0803 hours Officers responded to McDonald’s for the report of a female who shoved an employee.  The female was still on scene and was cited for harassment.

Access device fraud-Cranmere Ln

At 0829 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported an unknown subject had made over $1500 worth of purchases with his bank card.  The investigation is ongoing.

Possession of heroin with intent to distribute-Sheetz, Memory Ln

At 1035 hours an Officer responded to Sheetz for the report of a male who was to be in possession of heroin.  The male was located and numerous vials of heroin were located on his person.  He was transported to Central Booking and charged with PWID.

Harassment-Ross, Concord Rd

At 1100 hours Officers responded to the parking lot of Ross for the report of several females fighting.  Two had left prior to police arrival but were later identified and charges are pending further investigation.

Hit and run-Galleria Mall, Whiteford Rd

At 1108 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported that her vehicle was struck while she was inside the mall.

Harassment-Burlington Coat Factory, E Market St

At 1240 hours an Officer responded to the Burlington Coat Factory and met with the victim who reported a known female had struck her during a dispute.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft-S Kershaw St

At 1700 hours an Officer responded to a residence on S Kershaw St and met with the victim who reported someone had stolen his bicycle within the past week.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 2026 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for two juveniles in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the juveniles had taken $228 worth of merchandise without paying.  They were released to a guardian with charges to be filed.

Theft/Access device fraud-Sheetz, Memory Ln

At 2038 hours an Officer took a report for a theft that occurred on 10/18.  The victim advised he lost his wallet and someone had used his credit cards at numerous businesses around York.  The investigation is ongoing.
