On Friday October 26th STPD Officers handled 29 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Hit and run-Rutter’s, N Hills Rd
At 0225 hours an Officer was advised of a hit and run that just occurred in the parking lot of Rutter’s. The striking vehicle was a black Honda Civic and it fled the area at a high rate of speed. The investigation is ongoing.
Harassment-E Market St at Northern Way
At 1111 hours an Officer responded to this intersection for the report of harassment that resulted from a traffic dispute. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St
At 1311 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier on this date. An employee advised a male took $158 worth of merchandise and fled in a silver sedan. Photos of the male were posted for identification assistance.
