Robbery

On December 11, 2018 at approximately 3:30PM, the Springettsbury Township Police officers were dispatched to North Sherman St. in the area of Skyline Rd. for the report of a robbery that just occurred. Through investigation, it was determined that two male juveniles arranged to purchase marijuana from an adult male.  The juveniles met with the adult male in the 2300 block of Pleasant View Dr.  During this meeting, a physical altercation occurred between one of the juveniles and the adult male.  The other juvenile fired one shot from a handgun into the adult male’s vehicle, which did not hit anyone.  The juveniles fled the scene after stealing marijuana and money from the adult male.  Both juveniles were later taken into custody and charged as adults.  One juvenile was charged with Robbery, Possession of Firearm by Minor, Persons Not to Possess Firearms, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Simple Assault and is currently being held on $75,000 bail.   The other juvenile was charged with Robbery and Possession of Firearm by Minor and is currently being held on $50,000 bail.  The investigation of the drug transaction involving the adult male is ongoing.  If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact the Springettsbury Township Police Department at (717) 757-3525 or through York County 911.
