The Springettsbury Township Police Department is pleased to offer the opportunity to participate in the Springettsbury Township Police Department Citizen Police Academy. The Citizen Police Academy classes take place one night a week for 10 weeks. Each class is approximately 2.5 hours long and are generally held at our station on a weekday evening. The classes cover a wide range of law enforcement related topics including crime scene investigation, accident reconstructions, investigative and patrol tactics, as well as tours of the York County 911 center, and the York County Prison. Each class is conducted by officers who specialize in the individual class topics.  Class size is limited to 20 persons and is filled on a first come first serve basis.
